Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cyprien Noe Cyr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Dirk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dirk has chosen Wild Boy by Machine Gun Kelly as his entrance music. Jesse Dirk has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Cyprien Noe Cyr's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cyr misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cyr is defended easily by Dirk.
Cyr tries to clinch but Dirk moves out of range.
Cyr shoots in looking for a takedown but Dirk manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cyr's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cyprien Noe Cyr. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cyr takes a body punch but keeps moving.

and Dirk counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Dirk throws a wild body kick that Cyr sees coming a mile off.
Dirk misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cyr tries to close the distance and clinch but Dirk swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Dirk ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cyr moves away.

Dirk scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Cyr doesn't seem bothered though.
Cyr tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dirk sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cyr somewhat.
Cyr is breathing heavily.
Nice uppercut lands for Dirk. That snapped Cyr's head back.

Dirk drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Cyr working for submissions but it's allowed Dirk to get to half guard.
Cyr might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Dirk lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
