Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Morris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daizo Shimura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shimura has chosen Two Steps From Hell - Archangel as his entrance music. Daizo Shimura will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Morris throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Shimura was covering up waiting for the punch and Morris finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Morris stays in close to Shimura's body and controls the position.
Shimura is trying to control the position from the bottom.

We're going to have a standup here because Chris Morris wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Morris pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Morris doesn't manage to clinch there - Shimura circles away.
Shimura lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Shimura.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Morris looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Shimura cracks Morris with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Morris looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Shimura finish him?

Morris is rocked!
Shimura lands with a right and another and another! Morris is in big trouble! Shimura lands again and this time it's lights out for Morris! A quality knockout there for Shimura.
