Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Petter Anier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Leissner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leissner has chosen Feuer Frei as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Nate Leissner is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Ivan Kurochkin and Igor Prikhodko.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leissner has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Anier.
Anier misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Anier swings for the body but Leissner moves out of range.
Anier throws a sloppy head kick and Leissner moves out of range easily.
Anier shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Leissner pinned against the cage. Leissner gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Anier lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Leissner at a distance.
Leissner works Anier's body with a nice hook.
Leissner fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Anier throws a sloppy head kick and Leissner moves out of range easily.
Anier tries to land a front kick but Leissner steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Anier misses with a kick to the body.

Anier shoots in for a double leg but Leissner sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

and Leissner counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Anier's guard now.
Leissner's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Leissner stops Anier from standing up.
Leissner throws a big elbow that misses.

Leissner drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Anier manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Leissner has Anier in his guard.

Leissner controls Anier momentarily but Anier frees himself.

Anier wants to control from the top but Leissner keeps moving.
Anier has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Leissner is proving hard to escape from.

Leissner wriggles free and stands up.
Anier misses the body punch

so Leissner counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Leissner postures up in Anier's guard and throws a big left but Anier blocks it.
Leissner trying to move into half guard but instead Anier has managed to sweep!

Leissner isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Anier stacks Leissner on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Anier!

Anier decides to stand back up.

Anier fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Leissner to the ground. Anier is now in Leissner's guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Anier looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

It looks like Nate Leissner has been cut.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Anier is trying hard to land a takedown here. Leissner sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Petter Anier. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Petter Anier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Anier dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Petter Anier will probably get the nod.

That's time! Anier's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Leissner changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Anier tries to avoid it but Leissner manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Anier to the ground. Anier escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Anier rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Leissner counters with a single leg into guard. Anier didn't expect that.
Leissner throws a strike but Anier rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Anier would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Leissner is working an open guard so Anier takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
A clash of legs there as Leissner blocks the low kick.
A thudding body kick lands there by Anier!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Anier swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Leissner gets caught flat footed, as Anier shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Leissner is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Anier is controlling him.

Leissner looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Leissner is breathing heavily.

Anier trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Leissner is trying to keep Anier in close.
Nate Leissner has got the better of the ground game so far.
Leissner is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Anier is controlling him.

Anier stands and steps away. Leissner gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Anier fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Anier connects with a nice looking jab.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Anier, as that shot connected.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Leissner crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Anier - the referee stops the clock and Leissner gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Anier. Leissner manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Anier tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Anier lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Leissner at a distance.
Anier looks to land a left hand but Leissner moved out of range nicely.
Anier connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Leissner! He's out on his feet! Anier rushes in and drops Leissner with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
