Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Evangelista Nunes!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jones is defended easily by Nunes.
Jones misses with a wild combination.
Jones closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Jones connects with a nice looking jab.
Jones gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Nunes counters with a body kick.
Jones is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nunes throws a nice head kick!
It looks like Emmanuel Jones has been cut.
Nunes feints and as Jones raises his hands in defense, Nunes changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Jones keeping moving, preventing Nunes from controlling successfully.
Nunes controlling from the top position.
Nunes trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Evangelista Nunes has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Jones sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Jones throws a leg kick that is checked
and Nunes counters with a nice kick to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nunes lands a big head kick that sends Jones tumbling to the mat! Nunes takes a step backwards and waves Jones back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Jones is rocked!
Emmanuel Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Look low, kick high! Nunes uses the oldest trick in the book to send Jones tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Nunes is absolutely delighted - when Jones wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Evangelista Nunes!
