Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Borst De Groot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Montel Calchas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Groot comes to the cage accompanied by Led Zeppelin's Immigrant Song . Calchas has chosen Flipsyde-Someday as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid body kick from Calchas.
Calchas throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
A looping hook to the body misses from De Groot. Calchas does a little dance to reset his feet.

A decent looking cross lands there for De Groot.
De Groot misses with a double jab.
Calchas throws a sloppy head kick and De Groot moves out of range easily.

De Groot fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Calchas manages to avoid it.

De Groot struggles to land a body shot inside as Calchas controls his hands.
De Groot's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Calchas takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
De Groot moves out of range of the body kick.
Calchas scores with a head kick.
De Groot throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A jab from De Groot misses.

Calchas misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Calchas gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
This has been an exciting period of action!

A low kick from De Groot is predictable there
and Calchas counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. De Groot is lucky that one didn't land flush.

and Calchas makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. De Groot really felt that one!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
De Groot fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Calchas to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Calchas looks to clinch but De Groot throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Calchas taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
