The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alonso doesn't manage to clinch there - Stone circles away.
Stone avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Alonso closes the distance but Stone moves to the side

and Stone counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Alonso!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Alonso tries to hold on but Stone postures up.
Alonso in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.

It looks like JW Alonso has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stone with a couple of short strikes.
Stone scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Alonso?

Alonso is rocked!
Stone loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Alonso scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Stone land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Stone stands and salutes the crowd.
