Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brock Lesnar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kj Barakus!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnar misses with a takedown attempt

and Barakus counters with a shoot takedown. Lesnar fights it but they end up in guard.
Barakus wants to control from the top but Lesnar keeps moving.

Barakus got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lesnar has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Barakus has managed to get both his arms back between Lesnar's legs - danger averted.
Barakus lands a couple of digs.
Barakus postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Barakus is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Barakus postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Barakus decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Barakus.

Barakus closes the distance and pushes Lesnar back into the cage.

Barakus gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Lesnar regains guard.
Barakus lands a couple of elbows.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Barakus postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Lesnar wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Barakus manages to pass to side control.
Barakus seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Barakus scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Lesnar gets back to full guard.
Barakus working some strikes from top position.
Barakus tries to free his leg and advance position but Lesnar is retaining full guard.
Barakus makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lesnar is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Barakus with a nice head shot there.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Barakus's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Barakus slips nicely into half guard.
Lesnar is breathing heavily.

Barakus looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Barakus moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Lesnar.
Barakus lands some shots froms side control.
Barakus lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Lesnar down.

Barakus cracks Lesnar with an elbow. That is naaassty.


Lesnar is rocked!
Barakus cracks Lesnar with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Barakus immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Lesnar is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Barakus!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kj Barakus!
During a confident post fight interview, Kj Barakus thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
