Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rowland Edwards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamey Mills (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Edwards comes to the cage accompanied by Dies Irae. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Mills closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Edwards takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mills postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Mills has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

It looks like Rowland Edwards has been cut.
