Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Xiao Long Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Hominick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hominick looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Hominick is trying to control Li's posture but Li avoids it.
Li is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Li is working Hominick over with some ground and pound from side control.
Li content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Li is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hominick is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Li remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Li has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Li has an Americana. Hominick didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Li is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Li hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
