Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Neilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and mike putman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Neilson comes to the cage accompanied by Who Run This- 50 cent. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Neilson as putman shoots in.
putman avoids the body shot from Neilson.
putman fails in his attempt to clinch.
putman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Neilson as he avoids it easily.
A chopping leg kick lands by putman.
Neilson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
putman showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Neilson.
Neilson keeps the fight on the outside.
putman tries to clinch up.

Neilson takes the fight into the clinch.
Neilson misses with some punches.

Neilson breaks the clinch.
putman fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Kevin Neilson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of mike putman.

putman bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Neilson is looking to work his way out of this bad position but putman is controlling him well.

putman stands up and beckons Neilson to his feet.

Neilson drives through and clinches with putman against the cage.
Neilson is breathing heavily.
Neilson wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

putman has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Neilson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Neilson throws a jab when putman was well out of range.
A punch lands to the side of putman 's head but he takes it in his stride.

It looks like mike putman has been cut.
Neilson throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends putman stumbling backwards into the cage! putman bounces back off the cage towards Neilson, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Neilson lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Neilson celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
