Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Renaldo Vega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and martin louis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Renaldo Vega had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 172.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

louis forces Vega back against the cage and clinches.

louis escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Vega closes the distance and clinches up with louis, looking for a takedown. Vega pushes louis against the cage but louis circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

louis closes the distance and clinches.
louis lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

It looks like Renaldo Vega has been cut.
louis tries to land a knee to the head but Vega blocks with his arms.

louis decides to take the fight back to the feet.
louis lands a front kick.
Vega shoots in looking for a takedown. louis tries to sprawl out of it but Vega keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. louis manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Vega is breathing heavily.

louis breaks from the clinch.
Vega seems to have got his legs back now.

louis takes the fight into the clinch.
louis crunches a lovely knee into Vega's ribcage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

louis throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Vega blocks it with crossed arms.
Vega has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. louis is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

The referee calls for louis to work.

louis escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Vega shoots in and drives through. louis sprawls well.

louis moves into the clinch successfully.
louis with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Vega goes for a takedown attempt but louis pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

louis drives through and clinches with Vega against the cage.
Vega tries for a takedown. No joy.
louis slows down the pace here.
Vega is looking to break free of the clinch but louis has double underhooks.
Vega is looking to control louis's arms but louis gets an underhook and turns him. Now Vega has his back to the cage.
louis looking to throw knees to the head but Vega is blocking nicely.

Vega trying to stall but louis improves his position.

With the fighters up against the cage, louis throws an elbow but misses.
Vega is trying to maintain a safe position but louis gets an underhook and turns Vega into the cage.
Vega changes levels and goes for a takedown here. louis fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Vega shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
louis throws a sloppy head kick and Vega moves out of range easily.
Vega wants to clinch

and louis holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
louis throws a knee to the head but misses.

louis manages to break the clinch.
Vega changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. louis tries to avoid it but Vega manages to keep hold of a leg and drag louis to the ground. louis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

louis drives through and clinches with Vega against the cage.

Vega is looking for a takedown up against the cage. louis gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as louis takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
louis lands an elbow that stopped Vega in his tracks for a moment.

louis with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
louis throws 2 knees - Vega can't escape louis's clinch. As Vega tries to escape again louis whips his head left to meet with another knee! That's knocked out Vega's gum shield and as Vega falls to the floor, the referee steps in to end the fight!
