The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bryant waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Smith.

Smith shoots in looking for a takedown but Bryant manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Smith's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Bryant swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Smith.

Bryant is looking to clinch.
Smith stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Bryant.
Smith throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Bryant moves in looking to clinch but Smith pushes him off.
Smith moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Bryant gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Smith.

Bryant rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Smith moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Smith uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bryant.

Bryant tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Smith manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Smith looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Bryant tries to close the distance and clinch up but Smith swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Bryant bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Smith's head.
Erik Bryant is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bryant throws a right hand that Smith ducks under and follows up with a left that Smith also avoids with ease.
Smith comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Smith works the jab nicely.
Bryant dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Smith finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Bryant fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Smith manages to avoid it.

Smith is trying to drag Bryant to the mat but Bryant just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Bryant moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Smith bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

A jab from Bryant finds it's way through Smith's defenses.
Whack! Bryant lands a heavy head kick that drops Smith. The ref tackles Bryant to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Smith was done.
