The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas looking to score a takedown here. Delos Reyes is defending well but Thomas drives through and ends up in Delos Reyes's guard.
Thomas passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Delos Reyes tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Thomas wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Thomas cracks Delos Reyes with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Delos Reyes takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
It looks like Jose Delos Reyes has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Thomas works to advance to full mount. Delos Reyes defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Delos Reyes is in all sorts of trouble here.
Delos Reyes tries to improve his position but Thomas has taken his back! Thomas has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Delos Reyes tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Thomas pushes Delos Reyes away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
