Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hildebert Fabian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fabian 's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Exibit A. Pete Peterson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hildebert Fabian !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pete Peterson!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fabian misses with a double jab.
Peterson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fabian is fending him off so far but Peterson persists. Nope, Fabian circles away and we're back to standing.
Peterson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Fabian .

Fabian drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Fabian sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Peterson is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Fabian in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Fabian postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Fabian tries for a kimura but Peterson is defending well.
Fabian is looking to take a break and control but Peterson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Peterson prevents Fabian from moving into mount.
Fabian postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Fabian tries to move to mount but Peterson blocks the move with his legs.

Peterson takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Peterson can do anything to dispel that myth.
Fabian misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Fabian looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Fabian in side control, throwing shots but Peterson defends.
Fabian tries to advance to mount but Peterson instead regains half guard.
Peterson is refusing to be controlled, as Fabian sits in half guard.

Peterson keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Fabian is looking to advance position but Peterson won't allow it.
Fabian wants to lay and pray for a moment but Peterson keeps working.
Fabian drops an elbow to the side of Peterson's head.
Fabian wants to control but Peterson is keeping him busy.
Peterson won't allow Fabian to pass to mount.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Peterson wants to get back to his feet.
Fabian slows the pace down in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Fabian drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Peterson is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Fabian is looking for a takedown.

Fabian has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Peterson uses from the top position.
Fabian has his hands on Peterson's head, controlling the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Peterson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Hildebert Fabian overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Fabian has Peterson pulled in close to control his posture.
Fabian throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Fabian is trying to control the position but Peterson postures up.
Fabian looking for a sweep. Not yet Fabian , not yet.

Fabian is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Fabian manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Peterson manages to get himself to full guard.

Fabian throwing shots but Peterson is blocking nicely.
Fabian misses with a head shot. Peterson uses the momentum to regain guard.

Peterson is the more experienced fighter here and he's going to need to draw on some of that experience if he's going to pull this one out the bag.

Peterson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fabian . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Peterson wants to stand up but Fabian is controlling him.

Fabian postures up in Peterson's guard and throws a big left but Peterson blocks it.

Fabian loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Fabian looking to sit in guard and control but Peterson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Fabian striking off his back but it's not causing Peterson any problems.

Pete Peterson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Hildebert Fabian is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Fabian has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Peterson has gone for a leg lock! Fabian slips out almost immediately though and dives into Peterson's guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Hildebert Fabian showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Fabian has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Hildebert Fabian was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
