and Mullen counters with a nice uppercut.
DeMaio throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
letting Mullen counter with a right hand.
A slapping leg kick lands for Mullen.
DeMaio is breathing heavily.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
A chopping leg kick lands by Mullen.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mullen thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on DeMaio if he has to take too many more of those.
Mullen throws a nice inside leg kick.
Joey DeMaio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mullen works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
A nice leg kick lands there from Mullen.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! DeMaio crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Mullen - the referee stops the clock and DeMaio gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Mullen. DeMaio manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Mullen lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and DeMaio falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
