The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Fujiwara and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Antonio Santos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Liddell looks to land a right hand but Santos moved out of range.
Liddell throws a head kick but Santos moves out of range.
Liddell stuffs the takedown attempt from Santos. Santos gets slowly back to his feet.
Santos shoots in and drives through. Liddell sprawls well.
Liddell pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Santos chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Liddell can pounce on him.

Liddell lands a head kick that stumbles Santos and the fighters go to the mat.

Santos is rocked!

It looks like Antonio Santos has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Santos is still in real trouble! Can Liddell finish him?
Santos controls Liddell momentarily but Liddell frees himself.
Liddell wants to get up but he can't break Santos's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Santos seems to have recovered his senses.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
