The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vongkhamchanh on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Read throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Read throws a right and a left that both miss.
Vongkhamchanh ducks under a wild hook from Read.
Vongkhamchanh has a takedown stuffed.
Vongkhamchanh throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Read misses the jab.
Read throws a hook but Vongkhamchanh avoids it easily.

Vongkhamchanh takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Read lands a right hook to the body.
Read lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Read lands a body shot.
Read is looking to clinch but Vongkhamchanh is avoiding it.
Read misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Vongkhamchanh.
Read tries to land a leg kick but Vongkhamchanh saw it coming and moves away.
Vongkhamchanh displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Read throws out the jab.
Read scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
The fight stays on the outside here - Vongkhamchanh looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Read fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Read throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Read looks to land a left hand but Vongkhamchanh moved out of range nicely.

Read is pulling down on Vongkhamchanh's head. It's preventing any offense from Vongkhamchanh, at least for the moment.

Read lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Vongkhamchanh!

Read is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Vongkhamchanh is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Vongkhamchanh flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Read anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Vongkhamchanh and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Read slips an arm under Vongkhamchanh chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Read has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Read is squeezing on Vongkhamchanh like an anaconda would it's prey. Vongkhamchanh fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
