Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Arestotle Santo Montoya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Richmond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Santo Montoya comes to the cage accompanied by Theme From Jaws. Richmond has chosen Put Ur Balls On It as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Arestotle Santo Montoya has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Arestotle Santo Montoya seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Richmond has closed the distance and engaged Santo Montoya in a clinch.
Richmond stalling in the clinch.

Santo Montoya wants to control from the top but Richmond keeps moving.
Richmond wants to stand but Santo Montoya is controlling the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We're going to have a standup here because Arestotle Santo Montoya wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Richmond throws a right hand that Santo Montoya ducks under and follows up with a left that Santo Montoya also avoids with ease.

Santo Montoya dives in and grabs Richmond's left leg, looking for a takedown. Richmond pushes down on Santo Montoya's head and hops out.

Richmond's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Santo Montoya's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Santo Montoya seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Richmond for as long as he can get away with.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Santo Montoya swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Richmond is now in Santo Montoya's guard. A big mistake from Santo Montoya there, giving up the dominant position!
