Maddox fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
John tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Maddox manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Maddox shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in John's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if John can do anything to dispel that myth.

Brad Maddox really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Burning Fist Apparel logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
