Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Rpin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Ragay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rpin's entrance music is Bebot. A fine choice. Rocky Ragay has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Ryan Rpin's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ryan Rpin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Rocky Ragay!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Ren Mimura and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rpin shoots in for a takedown but Ragay shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Rpin fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ragay avoids it really well and circles away.
Rpin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ragay circles away quickly and effectively.
Ragay throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rpin's waist but Rpin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ragay off to one side.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rpin is defended easily by Ragay.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan Rpin. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Ragay instigates a clinch.

Ragay escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rpin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ragay as he jumps to the side.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Ragay has hold of one of Rpin's legs. Rpin is fighting the takedown attempt but Ragay gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Rpin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ragay can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Ragay has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Rpin is proving hard to escape from.
Ragay postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Rocky Ragay hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Rpin looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Rpin is breathing heavily.

Rpin shoots in and gets a takedown into Ragay's guard.

Ragay pushes Rpin off and gets back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rpin tries for a takedown but Ragay sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Ragay closes the distance and clinches.
Ragay is looking to take this one to the mat.
Rpin gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Ragay.
Ragay wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Rpin has him pressed against the ropes.

Rpin manages to break the clinch.

Ragay closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rpin to the mat! Rpin manages to get full guard.
Ragay chips away with some ground and pound.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Rpin has his foot on Ragay's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ragay works his way back into a safe position though.
Ragay won't allow Rpin to get back to his feet.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Ragay avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Ragay stands up from Rpin's guard - Ragay perhaps looking for a knockout.
Ragay is looking to clinch but Rpin is avoiding it.

Rpin tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ragay sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rpin somewhat.
Rpin shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ragay sprawls well. Ragay wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rpin gets slowly back to his feet.

Ragay closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Rpin quickly recovers to half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rpin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ragay gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Ragay got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rpin has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ragay has managed to get both his arms back between Rpin's legs - danger averted.

Ragay stands up and waves to Rpin to follow him.
Ragay shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rpin defends it nicely.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Rpin enables Ragay to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rpin manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Ragay stays in close to Rpin's body and controls the position.

Ryan Rpin tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
