Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Will Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felipe Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robinson comes into the arena with Lost In Space blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Felipe Silva enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Felipe Silva!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Alexandre Firmino and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva shoots in looking for a takedown but Robinson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Silva's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Robinson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Robinson tries to clinch up.
Will Robinson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Robinson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Silva moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Robinson blocks a head kick by Silva.
Silva shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Silva looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Will Robinson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Felipe Silva.
Silva avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Silva swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Robinson closes the distance and clinches.
Silva has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Robinson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Robinson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Robinson shoots in for a double leg but Silva sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Robinson gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Robinson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Silva takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Robinson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Silva napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Robinson fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Robinson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Robinson is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Silva has escaped the position, nice work there.
Robinson looks up at the clock and then as Silva takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Robinson smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Robinson tries for a kimura but Silva is defending well.
Robinson misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Robinson remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Robinson lands with some strikes.
Robinson breaks from Silva's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Silva is rocked!
Robinson postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Silva badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Robinson around the waist but Robinson pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Robinson is the winner by TKO! Robinson jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Will Robinson!
Will Robinson decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
