Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Sheilds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Rocky Balboa has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balboa lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Sheilds shoots for a takedown but Balboa saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

and Balboa decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sheilds's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Sheilds working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Balboa doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Balboa manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Sheilds has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Balboa doesn't defend quickly enough and Sheilds has managed to lock this one up! Can Balboa escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Sheilds on a fantastic submission victory.
