The crowd seem to be enjoying Carnera's choice of entrance music: DMX - one more road to cross. Lyoto Andres could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Primo Carnera's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andres avoids the head kick by Carnera.
Andres darts in trying to clinch
and Carnera counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Andres is lucky that one didn't land flush.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Andres avoids a punch combination nicely.
Andres has his takedown stuffed
and Carnera counters with a two punch combo.
Andres shoots in and drives through. Carnera sprawls well.
Andres tries to score a power double leg takedown but Carnera sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Andres somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lyoto Andres. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Andres shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Carnera counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Carnera displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Andres.
Carnera fails to land with a series of punches.
Andres is breathing heavily.

Carnera lands a nice hook to Andres's body. Andres takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Andres takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Carnera looks to land a combination but Andres avoids it well.
Carnera scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Carnera fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Carnera lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Andres sprawling to the canvas. Carnera follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Andres hang on?

Andres is rocked!

It looks like Lyoto Andres has been cut.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Andres is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Carnera scores with a couple of nice shots.
Oh Andres is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Carnera sitting in half guard here. He lands a big elbow that has hurt Andres! Oh, Andres is in big trouble! Carnera lands more strikes and the ref dives in to save him! The fight is over!

A relieved looking Primo Carnera thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
