Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jake Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tronic Thermo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hunter comes to the cage accompanied by Black Nurse by Glassjaw. Thermo has chosen Party Hard by Andrew W.K. as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jake Hunter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 17 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tronic Thermo!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Reed Andrews and Eddie Farnsworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunter ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Thermo moves away.
Hunter takes a swing at Thermo's ribcage but misses.
Thermo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hunter throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Thermo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hunter circles away quickly and effectively.
Hunter moves out of range of the strikes.
Thermo displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hunter throws out the jab.
Thermo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hunter's waist but Hunter gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Thermo off to one side.
Thermo doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Hunter counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hunter cracks a nice hook into Thermo's ribs.
Thermo slips under a jab.
Hunter throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hunter scores with a sloppy right hand. Thermo should have avoided that one.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hunter slaps away a takedown attempt from Thermo, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Jake Hunter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tronic Thermo.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Thermo is looking to regain half guard here but Hunter keeps moving and retains side control.

Hunter lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
BOOM! Hunter connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hunter cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Thermo is rocked!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Thermo really wants to buck Hunter off and get back to his feet.
Thermo takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Hunter's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

A relieved looking Jake Hunter thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
