Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brett Hart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George St Paul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hart's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Hart Attack. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hart changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. St Paul tries to avoid it but Hart manages to keep hold of a leg and drag St Paul to the ground. St Paul escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Hart misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hart keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Hart tries to sprawl but St Paul drives through with a takedown into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
St Paul thows a huge punch but Hart dodges it nicely.
St Paul is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

and St Paul counters with a single leg into guard. Hart didn't expect that.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Hart had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. St Paul defends it easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hart is trying to control the position from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

George St Paul dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Hart misses with a body shot

and St Paul counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Hart is not content to let St Paul control the position.
George St Paul has got the better of the ground game so far.
St Paul slips a nice elbow through Hart's hands, connecting with Hart's forehead.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. St Paul connects with a nice short shot to Hart's temple.
Hart is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of St Paul's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take St Paul's back!

Hart is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

St Paul might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Hart kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

St Paul finds himself mounted whilst avoiding strikes.
Hart throwing strikes but St Paul recovers to half guard. A much better position.
St Paul is trying to control but Hart passes into side control!
St Paul tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hart wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Hart is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, St Paul has escaped the position, nice work there.

Hart is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. St Paul knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

St Paul really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hart. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
