A fine choice. Didymus has chosen Welcome to the TerrorDome as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sir Didymus!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Mauricio Rocha and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Betlach misses with an uppercut. Didymus saw that one coming.
Didymus throws a jab when Betlach was well out of range.
Betlach uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Betlach bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Betlach's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Didymus connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Betlach scrambles back to his feet.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Didymus drops his hands momentarily and Betlach takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Betlach lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Betlach throws the kick towards the body but Didymus avoids it.
Didymus throws a hook to the side of Betlach's head but Betlach sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Vevrin Betlach is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

A decent looking cross lands there for Betlach.
Didymus takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Betlach, as that shot connected.
Didymus is still on wobbly legs! Can Betlach finish him?
Betlach misses with a hook.
Didymus seems to have recovered his senses.
Betlach tests Didymus's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Betlach misses with a looping left.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Betlach misses the jab.
Betlach is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Betlach lands the left hand.
Betlach is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Didymus takes one on the button.
Betlach misses with a straight right.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Betlach throws a shot from downtown. Didymus moves away and avoids it.
Didymus on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Didymus swings for the body but Betlach moves out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Betlach has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Didymus wants to control from the top but Betlach keeps moving.

Didymus trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Didymus is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

We're going to have a standup here because Vevrin Betlach wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Didymus shoots in for a double leg but Betlach sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Betlach throws a hook but Didymus blocks it.

Betlach keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Betlach is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Didymus bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Betlach's head.

Didymus throws out a loose jab but Betlach uses good head movement to avoid it.

and Didymus counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Didymus tries to bum rush Betlach with a series of wild strikes but Betlach uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Betlach catches Didymus with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Didymus takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Betlach lands a hook that stumbles Didymus back into the cage. Betlach follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Didymus to the canvas! Betlach pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Didymus has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
