The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danze misses with a wild combination.
Player tries a head kick but it misses.

Danze bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Player! He dives into his guard looking to finish!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Danze postures up in Player's guard and throws a big left but Player blocks it.
Danze seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Danze passes Player's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Danze slows the pace down in half guard.

Danze's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Player is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Billy Danze.
Player fails with a takedown attempt.

Player tries to clinch but Danze moves away
and Danze counters with a left to the body.
Player looks gassed!

Danze lands a left and a right that sends Player crashing to the canvas! Danze dives into mount looking to finish!

It looks like Assassin Player has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Danze tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Player is still in real trouble! Can Danze finish him?
Danze postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Player in real trouble here! The ref calls for Player to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
