The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Markstrom wants to clinch up but Condit keeps it at a distance.
Condit closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Markstrom to the mat! Markstrom manages to get full guard.
Markstrom looking to control.
Condit has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Condit is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Markstrom working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Condit doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Condit manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
