Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Scotty Nguyen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alfonso Sosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Nguyen might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Tunak Tunak Tun. Sosa has chosen Saliva - Ladies and Gentlemen as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alfonso Sosa!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Ben Zyskovitsi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sosa loads up on a big right hand but Nguyen slips the punch.

Nguyen clinches.
Sosa swings wildly with an uppercut but Nguyen uses good head movement to avoid it.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Nguyen breaks the clinch.
Sosa misses with a wild body shot.
Nguyen lands a glancing blow to the side of Sosa's head.
Nguyen takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Nguyen throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sosa avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Sosa bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Sosa throws a jab but it's blocked by Nguyen.

Nguyen throws a sloppy head kick and Sosa moves out of range easily.
Nguyen shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Sosa swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Sosa throws a shot from downtown. Nguyen moves away and avoids it.

and Nguyen counters with a right hand to the body.
Sosa pivots, looking for a leg kick but Nguyen is out of range and Sosa settles back down.
Nguyen on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Sosa. Sosa obviously looking to wear him down.

Nguyen thuds a left hand into Sosa's body.

Sosa tries to work over Nguyen's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Nguyen has Sosa pressed against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sosa wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
A body shot lands from Nguyen.
Sosa is trying to push Nguyen away but Nguyen has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Sosa pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nguyen connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Nguyen moves into the clinch.
Nguyen tries to work over Sosa's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
A right hook to the body lands for Nguyen.
Sosa is leaning against Nguyen and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Nguyen keeps control of Sosa as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Nguyen is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Sosa misses with a short punch on the inside.

Sosa pushes Nguyen back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Sosa creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

The fight stays on the outside here - Nguyen looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Nguyen wants to clinch but Sosa slips to the side
and Sosa counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Sosa is rocked!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Nguyen engages and cracks Sosa with a massive lead left hook - Sosa tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Nguyen is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
