Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robert Lindquist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Mendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lindquist kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Wacco Will Kick Your Ass. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lindquist fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Mendez checks it well.
Lindquist misses with a body shot.
Mendez moves out of range as Lindquist strikes.
Lindquist moves in looking to clinch but Mendez pushes him off.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Lindquist.
Lindquist scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Mendez blocks a jab.
Mendez tries for a takedown but Lindquist sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A bone on bone clash there as Mendez blocks the leg kick.

and Mendez counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lindquist has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mendez can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
