The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toby just misses with a punch to the body.
Toby shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Edgerton defends it nicely.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Toby.
Toby looks to land a combination but Edgerton avoids it well.
Edgerton shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Toby as he avoids it easily.

Edgerton shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Edgerton is looking for a kimura but Toby is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Edgerton to get the leverage.

Edgerton is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Edgerton wants to lay and pray for a moment but Toby keeps working.
Toby is trying to control but can't.
Toby is trying to escape back to his feet but Edgerton uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Toby looks gassed!

Edgerton tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Edgerton thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Edgerton wants to lay and pray for a moment but Toby keeps working.
Edgerton advances nicely into full mount.
Toby really wants to buck Edgerton off and get back to his feet.
Edgerton controlling his opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Edgerton looking for a guillotine from mount but Toby is having none of it.
Edgerton takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Edgerton has control of Toby's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Toby regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Edgerton is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Toby has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Edgerton is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Toby is forced to tap! Great finish!
