PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hu Rah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Haminall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rah's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Flogging Molly - Devil's Dance Floor. Haminall is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Sound of Silence by Simon & Garfunkle. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hu Rah!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Matt Haminall!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Haminall manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Rah on his heels. He'll look to pass Rah's guard now, I'm sure.
Haminall is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Haminall must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Rah has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Haminall can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
