Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Candy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Eyre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Candy comes to the cage accompanied by zZzz. The crowd seem to be enjoying Eyre's choice of entrance music: Domination by Pantera. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Candy misses with a jab, cross combination.
A shot to the liver by Candy. Beautiful body shot.
Eyre tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Candy is able to avoid easily.
Eyre throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Eyre throws a lazy head kick
and Candy counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looks like Martin Eyre has been cut.
Eyre misses with a wild body shot.
Candy fails to land with a series of punches.
Eyre swings for the body but Candy moves out of range.
Candy throws a series of punches but Eyre avoids them all with ease.
Candy throws a hook to the side of Eyre's head but Eyre sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Candy throws a right hand that Eyre ducks under and follows up with a left that Eyre also avoids with ease.
The fighters circle momentarily. Candy darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Eyre swings widly with a right hand
and Candy counters with a leg kick.
Eyre takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

That has opened up Martin Eyre's cut even more.
Eyre looks gassed!
Candy throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Eyre misses with a straight right.
Candy dips to his left and cracks Eyre with an uppercut!
Nice defenses there by Candy.
Candy looks to land a combination but Eyre avoids it well.
Eyre fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Candy manages to avoid it.
Candy digs a good body shot into Eyre's ribs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Eyre shoots in and drives through. Candy sprawls well.
Eyre is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Candy.
Candy stuns Eyre with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Martin Eyre seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Eyre thows a body shot but no joy.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Candy throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Eyre stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Nice straight punches there by Candy. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Candy.
Candy lands a nice hook to Eyre's body. Eyre takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Candy lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Eyre takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Eyre is rocked!

The cut above Martin Eyre's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Candy misses with a double jab.
Candy is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Eyre throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Candy counters with a nice body shot.
John Candy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Candy drops Eyre with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Eyre looks back up at him and smiles so Candy waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Eyre is still on wobbly legs! Can Candy finish him?

Martin Eyre's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Martin Eyre's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
