And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nathan Wood!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Wood misses.
Son connects with a crisp jab.
Nathan Wood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wood throws a head kick but Son moves out of range.
Son fails to land with a series of punches.
Wood uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Son.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Son is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Wood to keep the fight standing.

Son wants to get back to striking at distance but Wood won't allow it.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Son creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Son breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Wood feints and then cracks Son's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Son down.
Wood lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Son gets control of Wood's arms and successfully pulls guard. Son will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Wood throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Son is trying to maintain a safe position but Wood gets an underhook and turns Son into the cage.

Nathan Wood showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Wood throws a big uppercut that drops Son! More strikes from Wood and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Son lies dazed against the cage as Wood celebrates with his cornermen!
