Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kari Peippo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Crahan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peippo comes to the cage accompanied by Public Enemy - Terminator X to the Edge of Panic . Crahan has chosen All That Remains - The Last Time as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peippo on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Peippo slips a straight right by Crahan.
Peippo scores with a nice right hand.
Crahan looks to land a combination but Peippo avoids it well.
Peippo takes a swing at Crahan's ribcage but misses.
Peippo throws a leg kick
enabling Crahan to counter with a crisp jab.
Peippo throws a body punch but Crahan moves out of range.
Peippo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Crahan was well out of range. Poor timing from Peippo.

and Crahan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A swing and a miss from Peippo.
Peippo throws a jab but it's blocked by Crahan.
Crahan missing with a left hand there. Peippo was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Peippo closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Crahan's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Peippo prevents Crahan from getting back to his feet.

Peippo throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Crahan works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Peippo controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Crahan is looking to stand up but Peippo isn't so interested in that idea.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Peippo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Crahan can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Peippo controls the pace.

Kari Peippo has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Peippo throws a leg kick but Crahan sees it coming and moves out of range.
Shawn Crahan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Crahan lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Crahan comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Crahan throws a low kick but Peippo avoids it.
Peippo is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Crahan lands a left and a right that send Peippo crashing to the mat, dazed. Crahan thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Peippo is rocked!
Crahan shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Peippo takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Crahan sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Peippo bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
