The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Ganga misses.
Ganga lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Velmu backs up against the ropes.
Velmu punishes Ganga's body with a nice straight punch.

Velmu gets a takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Velmu wants to take a breather but Ganga is having none of it.

Velmu wants to work for an arm triangle but Ganga is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Velmu prevents Ganga from getting the reversal.
