Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ramon Hoost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Salin Quadi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quadi comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Tupac - Changes kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ramon Hoost!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Salin Quadi!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Patrick Alders and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Hoost.
Quadi is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Hoost lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Quadi trying to hold on to Hoost's head to control him but Hoost postures up.
Quadi tries to roll over but Hoost keeps him under control.
Hoost is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Hoost uses his free foot to push down on Quadi's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Quadi.
Quadi bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Quadi trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Quadi wants to control from the top but Hoost keeps moving.

Quadi missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Hoost holds on and takes a little breather.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Quadi shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hoost but Hoost pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Hoost rushes Quadi and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Hoost gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Hoost lands strikes from half guard.
Hoost drops an elbow to the side of Quadi's head.
Hoost takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Hoost tries to pass to full mount but Quadi defends it.
Hoost winds up and cracks Quadi with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Quadi has hold of Hoost's hands but Hoost slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Quadi is looking to improve his position.

Quadi is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hoost pulls his head out easily.
Hoost wants to pass to mount but Quadi is defending the position.
Hoost working over Quadi with some ground and pound. Quadi looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Hoost is nestled in close to Quadi, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Hoost stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Quadi to get to his feet.
Quadi shoots for a takedown but Hoost saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Hoost manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Quadi on his heels. He'll look to pass Quadi's guard now, I'm sure.
Quadi keeping moving, preventing Hoost from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Quadi has his foot on Hoost's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hoost works his way back into a safe position though.
Quadi looks gassed!

Quadi had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hoost defends it easily.
Hoost is in close to Quadi's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Hoost working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Quadi's head.
Hoost scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Hoost passes Quadi's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Hoost is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Hoost slips a nice elbow through Quadi's hands, connecting with Quadi's forehead.
Hoost is nestled in close to Quadi, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Quadi is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Hoost lands a nice short elbow.

Quadi is rocked!
Hoost seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Quadi does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Hoost looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Quadi is still in real trouble! Can Hoost finish him?

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Hoost gets tackled into the cage by Quadi. Quadi maintains the clinch.
Quadi seems to have recovered his senses.
Quadi blocks a body shot from Hoost.

Hoost lands a takedown into guard.

Quadi looking for a guillotine here but Hoost defends easily.

Quadi isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Hoost stacks Quadi on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Hoost!
Quadi takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Quadi is looking to regain half guard here but Hoost keeps moving and retains side control.
Hoost tries to advance to mount but can't.
Hoost lands a nice forearm strike.

Quadi is not content to let Hoost control the position.
Quadi regains half guard.
Quadi is looking to get back to full guard here but Hoost has managed to pass to side control instead.
Quadi wants to control but Hoost postures up.
Quadi is breathing heavily.
Hoost scoring with punches and elbows.
Hoost landing a few strikes.
Hoost scores with punches from side control.
Quadi tries to buck Hoost off but Hoost is having none of it.

Hoost lands a strong strike to the head of Quadi. That's dazed him! Hoost looking to finish here. Quadi is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Hoost lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ramon Hoost!

Ramon Hoost really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that PRIME DESIGNS logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
