McGraw comes to the cage accompanied by Born Winner (Wrecth Of England). Jerome McGraw could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Dan Hammer's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammer throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

McGraw shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than McGraw was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
McGraw prevents Hammer from getting the reversal.
Hammer bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Hammer pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. McGraw is keeping the position for now.
Hammer must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
McGraw is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
McGraw trying to mount his opponent but Hammer defends it.
McGraw passes the guard and advances to mount!

McGraw goes for an armbar but Hammer turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Hammer.
Hammer wants to get up but he can't break McGraw's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Hammer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McGraw. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hammer postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! McGraw is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Hammer, into his guard.
McGraw passes Hammer's left leg - he's now in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hammer wants to get back to his feet.
McGraw passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Hammer!
Hammer is trying desperately to improve position.

McGraw swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Hammer is now in McGraw's guard. A big mistake from McGraw there, giving up the dominant position!

McGraw keeping busy on the bottom but Hammer has passed one foot through into half guard.
Hammer slips a nice elbow through McGraw's hands, connecting with McGraw's forehead.
Hammer is keen to just control but McGraw is a slippery customer.

Hammer tries to stand but as he's on his way up, McGraw locks on to a trailing arm. Oh, he's locked on a tight looking armbar - it looks tight! McGraw rolls him over and extends the submission further. Hammer is forced to tap! He'll be kicking himself for that sloppy move but that was very slick from McGraw!
