Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grecko Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Cranium (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Richard Cranium acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Grecko Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Richard Cranium!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Taro Takaoka and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Gracie throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Cranium tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gracie was well out of range. Poor timing from Cranium.
Cranium looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Gracie cracks the inside of Cranium's front leg.
Cranium takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Gracie keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

and Gracie counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Cranium manages to break the clinch.
Grecko Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Gracie counters with a stiff right hand.

Cranium misses with a takedown attempt
and Gracie counters with a two punch combo.
Grecko Gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Richard Cranium.
Gracie feints and then cracks Cranium's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Cranium down.
Cranium looks gassed!
Gracie throws a shot to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A punch combination from Gracie misses.
Gracie lands a nice shot that snaps Cranium's head back.
Sloppy strikes from Gracie. Those never looked like landing.
A head kick from Gracie lands but Cranium takes it in his stride.
Gracie fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Cranium is trying desperately to land a takedown but Gracie is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Cranium.

Gracie lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Gracie closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Cranium to the mat! Cranium manages to get full guard.

Cranium wants to get back to his feet but Gracie is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Grecko Gracie.
Gracie lands a nice looking kick to the body. Cranium takes a step back to recover.
Cranium has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Gracie.
Cranium blocks a head kick by Gracie.
Gracie scores with a one two! Cranium had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cranium tries to move into range but Gracie moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Gracie scores with the left hand. Cranium knows he should have avoided that one.

Gracie moves into the clinch successfully.
Gracie manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Gracie lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Cranium is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Gracie escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cranium looks for a takedown but Gracie sprawls well.
Gracie scores with a nice strike.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cranium is defended easily by Gracie.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Donk. Gracie catches Cranium right on the button with a cross.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Grecko Gracie dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Gracie closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Cranium quickly recovers to half guard.
Cranium wants to get back to full guard.
Cranium tries to kick Gracie off but Gracie keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Gracie wants to pass to mount but Cranium is defending the position.
Gracie slows the pace down in half guard.
Cranium is trying to stand back up but Gracie is controlling him
Gracie content to control rather than advance.
Gracie has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

We're going to have a standup here because Grecko Gracie wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Cranium looks to clinch
and Gracie makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Cranium is breathing heavily.

Cranium shoots for a takedown but Gracie saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Gracie just misses with a punch to the body.
Gracie dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Grecko Gracie is winning the standup battle so far.
Gracie dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Cranium. That did some damage!
Gracie scores with a one two! Cranium had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Gracie is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Cranium can do to turn this around?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cranium shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Gracie lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Cranium at a distance.

Gracie lands a big head kick that sends Cranium tumbling to the mat! Gracie takes a step backwards and waves Cranium back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Cranium is rocked!

It looks like Richard Cranium has been cut.
A shot to the liver by Gracie. Beautiful body shot.
Cranium is still on wobbly legs! Can Gracie finish him?
Gracie works Cranium's body with a nice hook.
Cranium shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gracie pinned against the cage. Gracie gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Cranium seems to have recovered his senses.

Gracie lands a slapping body shot.
Gracie ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cranium moves away.

Gracie lands a big head kick that sends Cranium tumbling to the mat! Gracie takes a step backwards and waves Cranium back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Cranium tries to get into range but Gracie steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Cranium! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Gracie scores the big KO victory!
