Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Abbott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Abbott kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is War Ensemble - Slayer. Matt Guy will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guy thows a left - swing and a miss!
Abbott wants to clinch up but Guy keeps it at a distance.
Abbott is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Guy steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Abbott.
Abbott shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Abbott was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Guy can do anything to dispel that myth.
Abbott looking to ground and pound but Guy is blocking nicely.

Guy wants to hold on but Abbott pushes him away.
Abbott tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Guy tries to lock up and control but Abbott gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Guy holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Abbott tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Guy wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Abbott.
Abbott unloads with some shots from mount but Guy bucks and avoids them well.

Abbott throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
