Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Mack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Poutine Pete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mack's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, DMX (Ruff Ryders Anthem). Poutine Pete will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mack scores with a decent looking hook.
Mack circles away from the clinch attempt.
Pete tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mack swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Pete moves into the clinch.
Mack lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Mack prevents Pete from breaking the clinch.
Pete looking to stall.
Mack lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Mack pulls Pete into guard.
Pete trying to control but Mack is working from the bottom.
Mack looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Pete seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Pete trying to control the position from guard on top but Mack is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Mack is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Mack seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Pete is looking to improve his position.
Pete trying to control but Mack postures up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Pete holds on and takes a little breather.

Mack has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Mack distracts Pete with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Mack arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Pete's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
