Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Aafke Stam and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McBacon tries to clinch up but Burza circles away and keeps his distance.
McBacon swings widly with a right hand
and McBacon takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Burza blocks a head kick by McBacon.
McBacon has managed to clinch.
McBacon keeps control of Burza as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Burza breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Burza misses with a wild combination.
No joy there for McBacon, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Burza counters with a stiff right hand.
Burza blocks a low kick nicely.

McBacon uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

McBacon looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

McBacon uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Burza.

McBacon throws a good cross that connects.
McBacon has closed the distance and engaged Burza in a clinch.
McBacon tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Burza breaks from the clinch.

Burza lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but McBacon circles away quickly and effectively.

McBacon throws a shot from downtown. Burza moves away and avoids it.

and Burza counters with a straight right hand.
McBacon dodges the punch combination from Burza.
Burza throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
McBacon looks to land a combination but Burza avoids it well.
McBacon is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Burza.
Simon McBacon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

McBacon is looking to chop away at Burza's legs.

McBacon throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Burza counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Burza looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
McBacon throws a right and a left that Burza avoids nicely.
McBacon lands a nice leg kick that just misses Burza's sensitive parts.
Burza throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
McBacon ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
A looping hook to the body misses from McBacon. Burza does a little dance to reset his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
McBacon drops his hands momentarily and Burza takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
McBacon is rocked!

Burza knocks out McBacon with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Burza before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Burza picks up the big W with a huge KO!

After winning the bout, John Burza thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
