Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alex Robsahm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Young (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Winston Howard and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robsahm throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
No luck for Robsahm with that takedown attempt.
Young with a lazy takedown attempt
and Robsahm counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

and Robsahm counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

and Young counters with a shoot takedown. Robsahm fights it but they end up in guard.
Robsahm pulls Young in close to his closed guard and prevents Young from doing any damage or advancing position.
Robsahm looking for a sweep. Not yet Robsahm, not yet.
Robsahm knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Young on the ground.
Young tries to free his leg and advance position but Robsahm is retaining full guard.
Robsahm will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Young postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Robsahm is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Young, into his guard.

Young had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Robsahm is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Young Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Robsahm's back instead.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Young is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Robsahm has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Young is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Robsahm is defending well though. Young let's go of the attempt for now.
Robsahm really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Young is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Robsahm defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
