PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jake Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ozzy Wylde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wylde has chosen "Get It Up" by Chickenfoot as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldo ducks under a wild hook from Wylde.
Aldo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wylde swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Aldo has a takedown stuffed.
Aldo moves in looking to clinch but Wylde pushes him off.
Wylde misses with a combination

and Aldo counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Wylde's guard now.
Aldo wants to control from the top but Wylde keeps moving.

Aldo drops back looking for a leg! Wylde is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Wylde manages to kick Aldo off! Aldo jumps back into Wylde's guard.
Wylde has his hands on Aldo's head, controlling the position.
Aldo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wylde swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Aldo drops back looking for a leg! Wylde is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Wylde manages to kick Aldo off! Aldo jumps back into Wylde's guard.

Wylde tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Aldo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Aldo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Aldo drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Wylde manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Aldo has Wylde in his guard.

Wylde lying in Aldo's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Aldo decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Wylde taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
