The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
West shoots in but Duke avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Duke shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Duke was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
West is looking to improve his position but Duke isn't that keen on the idea.
Duke sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
West manages to regain half guard. Good work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Duke is trying to control the action in half guard but West is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
West is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Duke tries to pass the half guard into mount. West knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now West is on top in guard.
West might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

West drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Duke dives on top into guard.

Duke really doesn't want to stay on the ground with West. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

West drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says West as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Duke screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with West! Nice submission victory there!
