Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick Conley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fowwest Gump (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fowwest Gump is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rick Conley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Fowwest Gump!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conley looks to score with a jab to the body but Gump is just out of range.

Conley gets tackled into the cage by Gump. Gump maintains the clinch.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Gump is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Gump thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Gump thows a huge punch but Conley dodges it nicely.
Conley on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Conley tries to get out of the position.
Conley is looking for a sweep. Gump is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Gump thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Conley's head.
Conley regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Gump.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gump drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Conley manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Gump has Conley in his guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gump is on top in guard.
Conley manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Gump sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Gump wants to control but Conley is keeping busy.

Gump is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gump is staying active underneath Conley, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Conley wants to control from the top but Gump keeps moving.
Conley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gump on the ground.

Gump is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Conley is aware though and is defending well.
Gump wants to control the position but Conley says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Conley got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gump has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Conley has managed to get both his arms back between Gump's legs - danger averted.

Conley does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Gump wants to finish this one by submission but Conley is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Gump.

Conley tries to lock up and control but Gump gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Gump has control of Conley's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Conley regains control of the situation pretty easily.
