Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kenrick Nikil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harques Wolfwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nikil comes to the cage accompanied by Wait and Bleed by Slipknot. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kenrick Nikil!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Harques Wolfwood!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Eddie Farnsworth and Lou da Vinci.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wolfwood avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nikil closes the distance and clinches up with Wolfwood, looking for a takedown. Nikil pushes Wolfwood against the cage but Wolfwood circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Wolfwood stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Wolfwood wants it to stay on the feet.
Wolfwood throws a shot from downtown. Nikil moves away and avoids it.
Nikil needs to keep his hands up - Wolfwood had a free shot at his head there.

It looks like Kenrick Nikil has been cut.
Nikil gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Wolfwood cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kenrick Nikil. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nikil shoots in but no luck this time.

Nikil closes the distance and clinches.
Wolfwood gets underhooks to prevent Nikil's takedown attempt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wolfwood tries to break the clinch but Nikil is controlling the position.
Nikil wants a takedown.
A frustrated look appears on Wolfwood's face as he tries to break the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Wolfwood pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Wolfwood displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Nikil.
Nikil dives in and grabs Wolfwood's left leg, looking for a takedown. Wolfwood pushes down on Nikil's head and hops out.
Donk. Wolfwood catches Nikil right on the button with a cross.
Nikil takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Wolfwood stuffs the takedown.
Nikil is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Wolfwood jabs Nikil right on the nose. Nikil blinks but takes it well.

Kenrick Nikil's cut is getting worse.
Nikil shoots in but no luck this time.
Nikil shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Wolfwood counters with a straight right hand.
Wolfwood closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Nikil out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Harques Wolfwood!
In his post fight interview, Harques Wolfwood started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
