Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Methuselah Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Couture might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to wait, nvmnd! thats just the tapping of his cane as he walks.. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammer throws a series of punches but Couture moves out of range.
Hammer keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Hammer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Jack Hammer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fighters circling - Hammer throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Couture really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Couture shoots for a takedown but Hammer saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

and Couture counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Hammer throws a jab but it's blocked by Couture.
Hammer pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Couture back to the cage. Hammer follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Hammer might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Couture shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hammer sprawls well. Hammer wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Couture gets slowly back to his feet.

and Couture counters with a nice low kick that buckles Hammer's knee momentarily.
Couture lets loose with a powerful body kick. Hammer will feel that in the morning.

Couture lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Hammer down.
Couture thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Couture has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Couture scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Hammer is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Couture can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
