Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Giant Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Wayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kong's entrance music is GIANT KONG. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kong misses with a wild body shot.
Kong looks to score with a jab to the body but Wayne is just out of range.
Kong drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Kong tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kong has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Kong tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Wayne prevents Kong from improving position.
Kong connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Wayne some visible discomfort.
Wayne is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Kong's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Kong throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wayne can do anything to dispel that myth.

Kong really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Wayne has one foot on Kong's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Kong throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Wayne counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Kong down! Wayne is looking to finish but Kong is intelligently defending himself.
Wayne wants to pass the guard but Kong is keeping the position.
Kong has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wayne can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Kong is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Wayne really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kong. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kong postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Wayne tries to reverse the position but Kong maintains control.
Kong has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Wayne takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Kong is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Wayne can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Kong postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Wayne bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Kong and the fight is over!
