PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lord Vader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daanish Hussain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vader comes to the cage accompanied by Same Ol' Road. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vader has a takedown stuffed.
Hussain misses with a body kick.
Vader walks into a left hand.
A head kick misses from Hussain.
Hussain throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Vader shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hussain sprawls well. Hussain wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Vader gets slowly back to his feet.
Vader tries for a takedown but Hussain sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lord Vader. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Vader shoots in for a takedown but Hussain shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Vader shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Vader takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hussain takes a swing at Vader's ribcage but misses.
Daanish Hussain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hussain lands a slapping body shot.
Vader is breathing heavily.
Vader avoids the head kick by Hussain.

Hussain lands a big right hand that sends Vader crashing to the mat! Hussain stays standing though and waves Vader back to his feet!

Vader is rocked!

It looks like Lord Vader has been cut.
Hussain cracks Vader with a left hook right on the temple and Vader goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Hussain lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Vader is OK!
